We are both in our mid to late fifties and fighting the aging process. We were always "health conscious" enough but realized it was time we had to step up our game. Improving our eating habits gradually led to a healthy plant-based diet. We each began seeing a strength trainer multiple times each week. We also began to explore CBD tincture and other CBD products. For us, CBD has been extremely beneficial. It has helped us in many ways. Once we had been using the products for awhile, we started recommending them to friends and family who also found their own relief. We began to realize there were a lot of people who wanted to know what CBD was and they needed a place to get their questions answered. We made it our mission to learn as much as we could about CBD and its benefits. We have attended many educational seminars and conferences. Along with doing our own research along side our very own Dr. Swart, a leader on CBD and its effects on the physiology of the human body.

After all of this we knew the best way to share our knowledge would be to open a Wellness Center where people can not only purchase CBD but they can be educated on what it really is and how it works!
Dr. Christopher Swart
Director of Education and Research
Dr. Christopher Swart is the Director of Education and Research at Total Health Connection and has dedicated his career to helping people achieve optimal health. Dr. Swart has worked with all types of populations ranging from general public to professional athletes improving their quality of life through fitness, wellness and nutritional guidance. His doctoral work focused on physiology, the study of body function, at Springfield College where he also worked as a research fellow and taught laboratory classes. Dr. Swart has held faculty positons at three higher education institutions including his current position as Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. His experience working as a professor has allowed him to bring a unique educational style to Total Health Connection. He is truly able to simplify a complex topic, like CBD, to the general public so they can understand how it works and how it best fits their health and wellness goals. Dr. Swart has created an easy to follow educational seminar to ensure all clients have a foundational understanding of CBD and hopes to see you at the next one!
Kelsey Bertram
Sales and Marketing Manager
Kelsey graduated from Salem State University with a degree in Sports and Movement Science. She grew up dancing competitively and continued with dance through college as the Salem State Dance Team Captain & Public Relations from the Salem State Repertory Dance Theater. Beyond College, she managed a local gym and also taught dance at a local studio. Kelsey's commitment to health and wellness has always been present in the choices she has made throughout her life. CBD is now Kelsey's wellness focus and she enjoys learning all she can so she is able to help others through CBD the way it has helped her.
Jessica Swart
Assistant Manager / Graphic Designer
Living as naturally and organically as possible has always been a passion of mine. This became even more important when I was pregnant with my daughters. I have extremely high standards when it comes to what we put on and in her sweet little body. Most of the everyday products we use in our home are free of harmful toxins including our CBD. As a certified aromatherapist we also use essential oils daily. I am also a Reiki healer, graphic designer, photographer, forest wanderer, balance seeker and empath.
Savannah D'Agostino-Martel

Savannah is the newest member to join our team! She graduated from Fitchburg State University in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She has over five years of customer service under her belt, and looks forward to helping anyone she can through the use of CBD. Her favorite products currently are the CBDistillery Relax Gummies, which she used to stay calm throughout the day!
